About Us

Our Operation

We operate a dedicated aircraft leasing platform focused exclusively on aircraft ownership, capital structuring, and asset management. We do not speculate, operate flight lines, or blur roles. Our singular focus is protecting investor capital while generating predictable, risk-adjusted returns through disciplined aircraft leasing.

Bill Boehm

Bill Boehm is a co-owner of APM Leasing, bringing extensive aviation experience and a training-centered, operational approach to the company’s work with flight schools and aircraft operators. He is a professional airline pilot flying the Boeing 767, a Boeing 767 Instructor, and a CFI, CFII, and MEI with over 5,000 flight hours. Bill holds type ratings in the Boeing 767, Boeing 737, and Embraer ERJ-145, and previously served as a Boeing 737 Captain, providing him with broad multi-aircraft and leadership experience across airline operations. Bill retired from the U.S. Army on January 1, 2025, following a 20-year career distinguished by leadership, instruction, and disciplined execution in complex operational environments. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, enabling him to combine financial insight with long-term strategic thinking in support of APM Leasing’s mission. Married for 25 years and the father of two children, Bill values balance, consistency, and personal development. Outside of aviation, he maintains an active lifestyle through weight lifting and Muay Thai, reinforcing the discipline and focus that define both his professional and personal pursuits.

Chris Fitch

Chris Fitch is an aviation expert, operator, and investor with a career that began as a Marine Corps Aircraft Mechanic and evolved into nearly every corner of professional aviation. He holds ATP certificates in airplanes and helicopters, multiple type ratings, A&P with IA authority, and has logged over 6,800+ flight hours with over 5,300 as PIC, spanning Part 121 airlines, Part 135 charter, and global government ISR missions as Aircraft Commander. He was also previously an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, conducting thousands of checkrides annually, giving him rare insight into pilot competency, training quality, and regulatory standards. Beyond the cockpit, he is an aviation entrepreneur and investor, operating an aircraft leasing company and applying disciplined financial, maintenance, and risk analysis to aircraft as cash-flowing assets. With an MBA and Doctoral Studies in Aviation Science, he bridges maintenance, flight operations, instruction, and investment, positioning him uniquely to coach and consult pilots, owners, and investors on building sustainable aviation careers, scalable ownership strategies, and long-term wealth in aviation.

Our Success

• 40 aircraft owned and leased across multiple utilization models

• Aviation real estate ownership, including Tanglewood Airpark

• Flight schools owned: Red Rock Flight School – Mesa, Arizona

• we ONLY lease aircraft— no operational conflicts, no diluted focus

What We Do

We structure, own, and lease aircraft. This includes acquisition underwriting, capital stack design, lease structuring, asset-level risk controls, ongoing performance oversight, and exit planning. Aircraft are treated as specialty equipment assets, not operating businesses.

What We Don't Do

(by design)

We do not operate aircraft or aviation businesses directly. All operational functions are outsourced to specialized professionals, including flight training, maintenance, aircraft rehabilitation, ferrying, and day-to-day operations.

Professional Operating Ecosystem

Our platform is supported by a large network of experienced aviation professionals—FAA-certified maintenance providers, flight schools, insurance brokers, aviation counsel, and tax and finance specialists. We manage ownership, leasing terms, and capital exposure only.

Assets Under Management Philosophy

We measure success through capital preservation, controlled maintenance exposure, consistent lease demand, and clean exits—not vanity metrics or speculative projections.

Why This Model Works

Most aviation losses occur when owners become operators, maintenance risk is misunderstood, or capital stacks are built on optimistic assumptions. Our model avoids these failures through strict role separation, conservative structuring, and disciplined exit planning.

The Result

A scalable aviation leasing platform that protects capital, produces utilization-backed revenue, avoids operational entanglement, and remains flexible across market cycles. Take control of your future with aircraft leasing and make aviation work for you.
